If you caught last nights premier of Terra Nova on Fox, you probably saw the quick flash of money in the bag but thought “oooh look at the fancy future money!”, but probably didnt notice the face on the grand bills.

Have another look. It seems “the oracle has spoke”, and she is saying Barack Obama will be sitting pretty on the $1000 bill!

The new iPhone will be called the iPhone 5 or the iPhone 4S, and it will come in one, two, or three models, with one being a smaller, cheaper device, or not. It will have NFC, unless it doesn’t. It will be slimmer, or not, and have an edge-to-edge screen, unless that’s not true. That new phone will come out in August, September, or 2012.

Part of the fun of coming up with sci-fi is imagining what the future will be like. Predictions are almost always certainly wrong, but it’s fun to speculate about anything.

In the above image, artist LoopyDave points out that one recurring theme seems to pervade all sci-fi, that women will have THIS hairstyle. It’s unclear exactly why that’s the case, but bangs are in, along with…what’s that called? A bob? I don’t know my female hairstlyes.

I can name all of these except middle right, top right and top left. Help me out?
